Proposed programme:

• De-commoditizing cocoa: what does it mean to be de-commodified as a chocolate brand? What is the value for cocoa producers?
• Invisible farmers and workers in the cocoa supply chain. Too little is known about the majority of cocoa farmers and workers. This session aims to fill in some of the blind spots.
• Let’s hear it from retail! How do retailers take their responsibility in the supply chain?
• What’s new in Carbon finance? What is happening to make carbon finance work for farmers?
• Landscape approaches and non-competitive collaboration for systemic change in rural economies in cocoa producing countries.
• Future proof cocoa and chocolate. Disruptive developments that promote risk-free cocoa for the industry and implications for cocoa producers.
