Chocoa Returns for its 14th Edition: February 16–22, 2026 – A Global Cocoa Gathering at the Heart of Amsterdam

Amsterdam, June 2025 — Chocoa is back for its 14th edition, taking place from February 16–22, 2026, as part of the third annual Amsterdam Cocoa Week. The event will once again turn the Dutch capital into the global hub for cocoa innovation, sustainability, and trade — welcoming professionals and enthusiasts from every corner of the value chain.

Chocoa 2026: One Week. One City. One Cocoa Community.

Chocoa 2026 will bring together a powerful network of industry leaders, sustainability officers, policymakers, cocoa producers, traders, processors, service providers, researchers, NGOs, chefs, and chocolate lovers.

New themes, new energy, and new global momentum will define this edition. For seven days, Amsterdam will host a wide array of business, sustainability, policy, and consumer-oriented events under the umbrella of the Amsterdam Cocoa Week, co-organised with the World Cocoa Foundation (WCF) and Cacao of Excellence (CoEx).

 

What’s New in 2026?

  1. Seguine Cocoa Auction

A revived tradition! Chocoa 2026 will feature the much-anticipated Séguin Cocoa Auction in collaboration with Chocoa and Daarnhouwer, — where unique, high-quality lots will be traded live in Amsterdam. It’s more than a sale; it’s a showcase of cocoa excellence.

   2. Cacao of Excellence Awards

the world’s finest beans will be honoured in an international awards ceremony — celebrating origin, flavour, and farmer innovation.

   3. Trade and Transport Event 

Returning in 2026

  • Chocoa Trade Fair (Feb 19–20): A curated marketplace where suppliers, buyers, and innovators meet — now with a redesigned layout for better flow and visibility.

  • Chocoa Conference (Feb 20–21): Tackling urgent themes including living income, deforestation regulations, traceability and carbon finance.

  • Chocolate Makers’ Forum (Feb 20–21): An international platform for knowledge exchange, market strategies, and collaboration between craft makers.

  • Financial Course (Feb 17–18): Focused on business planning, capital access, and pitching for farmer organizations and cocoa entrepreneurs.

  • Culinary Masterclasses (Feb 21–22): Chefs, baristas and artisans explore the power of fine flavor cocoa in savory dishes, cocktails, and desserts.

  • Grand Dîner du Chocolat (Feb 20): A 5-star culinary celebration and networking moment for over 200 professionals, set once again at Hilton Amsterdam.

  • Chocoa Chocolate Festival (Feb 22–23): A public celebration at Beurs van Berlage with tastings, exhibitors, workshops, and 8,000+ chocolate lovers.
