Ticket Refund Policy​

Ticket Purchase & Refund Conditions

 

All ticket purchases for Chocoa 2027 and Amsterdam Cocoa Week events (22–28 February 2027) are final and non-refundable, except under the circumstances outlined below.

  • Refunds Due to Event Cancellation or Major Rescheduling

 

If Chocoa cancels or significantly reschedules an event, ticket holders may be offered a full or partial refund, depending on the circumstances and costs already incurred. In cases of postponement, tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled event.

If a ticket holder wishes to cancel their participation, the following refund conditions apply:

  • Before 20 December 2026: 75% of the ticket price will be refunded.

  • From 21 December 2026 until 19 January 2027: 25% of the ticket price will be refunded.

  • From 20 January 2027 onwards: No refunds will be issued.

In exceptional circumstances, the Organiser may decide to deviate from these conditions

  • Ticket Transfers

Tickets may be transferred to another person free of charge.

Name changes must be requested by email at office@chocoa.nl no later than 8 February 2027, to ensure that the new ticket holder can access the event and matchmaking app correctly.​

​

  • Force Majeure

Chocoa is not liable for cancellations or changes caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, pandemics or government restrictions.

In such cases, refund requests will be evaluated individually, but refunds are not guaranteed.

  • Visa Denial

If a ticket holder is unable to attend due to a visa denial, a refund may be considered under the following conditions:

  • A written request must be submitted to office@chocoa.nl no later than 1 February 2027.

  • Official documentation confirming the visa denial must be provided.

Late visa applications, processing delays or expired visas are not valid grounds for a refund.
