Ticket Refund Policy
Ticket Purchase & Refund Conditions
All ticket purchases for Chocoa events are considered final. We do not offer refunds for tickets once purchased, except under the circumstances outlined below.

Refunds Due to Event Cancellation or Major Rescheduling
In the unlikely event that Chocoa cancels or significantly reschedules an event, ticket holders will be offered a full or partial refund. The decision and amount of refund will be at the sole discretion of the event organisers.

Ticket Transfers
If a ticket holder is unable to attend, tickets may be transferred to another person. Name changes can be requested by contacting info@chocoa.nl no later than 2 weeks prior to the event. This is particularly important for the proper functionality of the matchmaking app for new ticket holders.

Force Majeure
Chocoa is not liable for failure to fulfil any obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions. In such cases, refunds may be evaluated individually but are not guaranteed.

Visa Denial
If a ticket holder is unable to attend due to a visa denial or expired visa, refunds are not guaranteed but may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
To be eligible for consideration, the ticket holder must:

Submit a written request to info@chocoa.nl no later than 3 weeks before the event, and

Provide official documentation from the relevant embassy or consulate confirming the visa denial or issue.
Please note: delays or failures to apply for a visa on time are not considered valid grounds for a refund.
