Chocolate Makers' Forum
Wednesday 18 February
15:30 to 17:00

Chocolate Makers' Forum
The Chocolate Makers Forum is where the craft chocolate community comes together to talk about the realities of making and selling chocolate today: sourcing, flavour, consumers and business. It’s not a show, it’s a working space for makers to learn from other makers and other actors in the value chain.
Across three days we will dig into how cacao really moves from farm to lab in 2025 and explore the different ways makers currently approach direct trade beyond the marketing story. We will look at how they build long-term, accountable sourcing relationships and what it takes to access fine flavour cacao. We’ll also explore what makes award-winning cacao, and how post-harvest practices influence flavour at the highest level.
We will talk strategy too: how to turn fast-moving consumer trends — from viral formats like Dubai Chocolate or Angel Hair Chocolate — into real profit without losing identity, and how to create new products and experiences that people are willing to spend their money on.
You will also be invited into a brutally honest “Failures & F*ck Ups” session, where makers share the mistakes that nearly broke them — and what they learned.
If you are serious about craft chocolate, you need to be in the room.
Join us, connect with peers and shape what comes next.
